CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
By purchasing contact lenses from Contact Lens Express you certify that you are at least 18 years of age and have a valid contact lens prescription from your optometrist. You agree to have regular eye examinations and have your contact lens prescription updated and renewed. Upon ordering contact lenses from Contact Lens Express you are responsible for entering accurate and true information which matches your current contact lens prescription. You are also responsible for maintaining and updating your personal details which can be done via the profiles page. You indemnify Contact Lens Express from any damages or losses incurred due to incorrect or false information entered by you. You give Contact Lens Express consent to contact your optometrist when necessary to verify your contact lens prescription or obtain any additional information regarding your contact lens prescription.
GST
Contact lenses which have no power (plano) including novelty coloured lenses will incur GST of 10%.
USAGE OF CONTACT LENSES
You understand that contact lenses are a medical device and there are associated risks with contact lens wear. If you do not understand the risks of contact lens wear please do not order any contact lens products from this site and consult your eye care practitioner before placing an order. By using contact lenses purchased from this site you agree that you will use them responsibly and as directed by your eye care practitioner and have regular eye examinations from a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist. You indemnify Contact Lens Express from being responsible for any adverse reactions, damages or complications arising from the misuse of any products purchased from this website.
COMMUNICATION
Contact Lens Express may contact customers via email or phone. The main method of communication will be via electronic mail therefore a valid email address must be provided. You are responsible for updating your email details. If there is any change in your email you can update this via the profile page. You give permission to receive electronic mail regarding any purchases you have made or responses to questions you have asked from Contact Lens Express. You acknowledge that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide you electronically satisfy any legal requirement as if it were in hard copy.
ORDERING PRODUCTS
Contact Lens Express has the right to accept or refuse any order placed on any products. Prices for all products including postage are current but may be varied without notice. While every effort is made in keeping product images and descriptions as accurate as possible there is no guarantee the descriptions provided are current or error free. All products purchased from this site are not to be resold. If you are suspected of intending to resell any products, or order contact lenses not intended to be used by yourself Contact Lens Express reserves the right to refuse sale or cancel an existing sale.
DELIVERY
We deliver to Australia only. All orders are delivered using Australia Post. While we endeavour to deliver all products in reasonable time there is no guarantee deliveries will arrive with in a desired time. Occasionally some contact lens orders may be on back order. If any of your contact lenses are on back order you will be notified via email. All products are supplied on a delivered basis and the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery. A delivery occurs when a product reaches the destination nominated by the customer whether the customer is present or not present at the time of delivery.
RETURNS
All contact lenses come with a full manufacturer's warranty which covers any faults or defects in the lens. If there are any problems with the lenses please remove them and contact our support team. If contact lenses have been supplied incorrectly the lenses must be returned with in 30 days for a correct replacement. All Returns must be unopened, in original condition and purchased from Contact Lens Express to receive a replacement. Before returning a product please contact support staff via email on support@contactlensexpress.com.au and our support team will guide you through the process.
PRIVACY
Contact Lens Express respects the privacy of customers. All information collected from customers is strictly confidential and will not be sold or given to third parties. The personal information collected from customers is used to complete product purchases. Customers will be emailed to confirm orders or may be contacted in relation to their order. Commercial mail about any notices, products, services, or promotions may also be emailed out unless the customer opts to not receive any commercial mail from Contact Lens Express.
Cookies are files stored on your computer by the websites which contain information about previous pages have visited. Contact Lens Express uses cookies to keep track of orders made on the website. For orders to be processed cookies must be turned on in your web browser.
