HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Express delivery via Australia Post eParcel is $15. This is required for our Express Delivery Guarantee.

Regular (registered) delivery to Australian residents cost is $9 using Australia Post eParcel service, which deliver Australia wide including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. We also ship internationally, for international delivery please email us to find out costs.

WHAT IS THE EXPRESS DELIVERY GUARANTEE?

If you order contact lenses from our Express Range we guarantee delivery to you within 3 working days or your money back.

Conditions:

• Contact lenses are from our Express Range
• Prescriptions are between -0.50 and -6.00
• Express Delivery is chosen at checkout

HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?

Orders from our EXPRESS RANGE will be delivered to you within 3 working days if you choose the express delivery option on the cart page.

Please allow 1 - 2 weeks for processing and delivery for regular delivery. For faster processing please use credit card as the payment option, direct debit orders normally take about 1 - 2 days longer for payments to clear. If your contact lenses are not in stock you will be notified by our system.

CAN I USE MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE TO CLAIM A REBATE BACK ON MY LENSES?

Yes. Health fund members who have cover for optical products will be able to claim back a rebate. We will issue a receipt with a provider number and the appropriate item numbers which you can take to your health fund.

For Medibank Private customers: Due to changes in Medibank Private policies in 2013, you will have to email us a copy of your prescription to be able to claim your rebate. You can send this to support@contactlensexpress.com.au.

IS MY CONTACT LENS PRESCRIPTION THE SAME AS MY GLASSES PRESCRIPTION?

The prescription for your glasses is different from your contact lens prescription. Your contact lens prescription will have details of your contact lens power, base Curve (BC), diameter (DIA), and brand of lenses you have been fitted for. If you do not have a contact lens prescription you can obtain it from your eye care practitioner.

CAN I RETURN MY LENSES?

If the lenses have been supplied incorrectly you can return the lenses for a replacement provided the boxes are unopened and the return is made within 30 days of purchase.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE AN EYE EXAMINATION?

Your eyes should be regularly examined and as directed by your practitioner. This is important for maintaining healthy eyes and vision.

WHERE DO I GET A PRESCRIPTION FOR MY CONTACT LENSES?

If you've had a contact lens examination with your optometrist then you can request for a copy of your contact lens prescription.

IS ORDERING ONLINE SECURE?

Yes. To ensure your credit card transaction is secure we use 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to encrypt your credit card details. This is the industry standard for securely transmitting sensitive data across the internet. To ensure the security of your credit card details we do not store any credit card numbers on our system.
